Total n00b...I need pictures of where the computer is so I can tell Apten what the code is for my new chip.

Is it on the door jam, inside the truck or in the engine compartment?

I have searched but cannot find pictures...telling a n00b like me it is on the driver's side firewall does not help me...show me a picture...please.

Your PCM is behind the passenger side kick panel. there is a white plastic bracket holding it. The code is probably 5-6 digits/letters long.

Do you mean inside the car on the passenger side under the dash?

Yeah, under the dash beside where your feet are. There is a screw in the moulding around the door and one in the sill plate then you can take out the plastic plug in the panel itself then the panel can be removed.

The code should be visible at that point. Mine is VET1

Thanks

Albino94ltd - Thanks for helping out an automotive illiterate. I found the computer and code (UMP1). Now I know what a kicker panel is...it makes sense.
