'94 XLT Won't Start

I have a 1994 xlt that I just got yesterday.It wont start.I checked fuel presure and I have 35 psi.when turning the key,but when I try to start it,I loose all presure.Can anyone help?

Welcome to this forum! So your pressure gauge goes to zero when the engine cranks? Unplug the vacuum line going into the fuel pressure regulator, then crank it. See if the pressure remains the same.

Good luck with the fuel prob. The 1991-1994 (1st gens) are great.
