95 4.0 help

[95 pain in rear]

i am new here and i have a 95 ex 4.0 that has been a pain, it misses under a load i replaced the plugs and wires and also the coil pack nothing changed. i also changed the iac and it had no effect i had a friend put it on a snapon scan tool and it said the tp sensor was bad, i bought a new one of those and installed it. it hasnt helped either, it has been like this for over three years now and it is a real pain that i cant fix this. my first thought was converter in trans but i was told by a trans shop it wasnt the problem. can anyone give me "the" answer?? thanks for your time

Folks can call a lot of problems a "miss" when in fact that isn't the case. Are you sure a cylinder is misfiring? If so, have you done a compression check? If you have access to the proper scan tool, you can do a cylinder balance test with EEC-IV that can help. Have you looked at the spark plugs to see if you can determine which one is missing?
