95 ex limp mode

I am looking for ideas to by-pass or trick the puter on my 95 ex to think that it still has a auto tranny! I replaced it with a manual one from a 92 ranger and now it runs good except it jumps in and out of limp mode! Any ideas will be good or a cheap fix will work too thanks

I found a ecu that is from a manual but was told that there are 2 different ones for this model and one will work one wont
