Sometime in mid June the AC in my '95 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer suddenly started sputtering out the front vents. The air was still nice and cold but it would blow high then very low then medium then just cold air hovering at the vents. Then on some days it would blow high like normal every time I turned the AC on. Over the next few weeks it started taking five minutes or so before any air would come out and then it would be fast/slow etc. again. Now there is no air blowing at all. Cold air still blows like normal out of the rear vents.

When I adjust the fan speed override thumbwheel or turn the MAX AC button on and off, I hear a clicking sound coming from somewhere near the right side of the plenum box/chamber. The clicking sound is almost the same sound as the clicking of the turn signal click. I cannot find the exact location of the clicking to see if this has anything to do with the air flow coming to a complete stop after slowly sputtering from high to low.

Any direction on this would be very helpful and appreciated. As you can see, I live in San Antonio, TX and it's been miserably hot down here.

Thanks!
