95 Explorer bumper?

Will a 98-01 bumper fit on my 95? my bumper i rusting and i like the look of the round fog lights, also my X is white with black trim, was there a black front bumper in 98-01?

Yep! It's a bolt on project. Remember to get the bumper and the reinforcements of it, not just the bumper cover.

what do you mean? I went to Bumpers.com and the have a bumper cover but they didnt say anything about the reinforcements.

They sell them as a set. Ask 01EB5.0 for info. He did that to his XLT a long time ago. Travis, chime in.

I called Bumpers.com last week and they said they didn't have anymore 'dressed' bumpers for explorers.

I did the conversion to a 99-01 sport bumper on my explorer and it was a simple bolt on process. I got mine from bumpers.com. I think the reason they are out of them is because they are no longer selling explorers with those types of bumpers, and therefore bumpers.com won't get anymore factory blemished ones. You can look in a yard. The bumpers seem to fetch about 300-400 bucks with the reinforcement and the cover. I paid $450 myself...but if you can sell your old bumper like I did, then you should take too big of a hit.

$450 how is that........from bumpers.com the cover is only like $98 or something........so you are saying that the reinforcements are $350.

$450 that includes the reinforcements, cover, and fog lights. The fog lights are what is expensive, they are like $250.

Thanks for clearing that up......$250 is wayyyyyyyy to much for some fog lights! That is crazy

Here's the thing...I don't know if bumpers.com have any more bumpers left. They get the blemished ones from the factory and since Ford doesn't make any '99-'01 Explorers anymore, bumpers.com will not get any more blemished bumpers. Your best bet is to get one from a junk yard.
