Curious..anyone done a new style conversion for an older Explorer? I have a 91 and want to do the 96/98ish front. I can get a whole new front (fenders, hood, radiator support, bumper, lights, ect) for $500 and want to know how much work would be in converting it? Size the same? I like the new front ends and have access to some nice covers and air dams. Any and all help is GREATLY appriciated. Thanks, Cody:D

I like that..alot..but no headlights and I sorta need those. I would love a 'glass front end but need it for a street truck..the one I saw on the link didnt have a bumper even!

Maybe you could get the perry's conversion without fenders, mount a late model bumper and fenders? In my manual, it lists the mounting points for the front fenders to be the same from '91 til '96. :smoke:

Thanks Joe..will have to look in my Clymers about the mounting points..whole front end for $500 isnt bad so I wouldnt be out much..and could sell it if I didnt want to have to modify it alot. But I thought it should have been easy..now that you said its same bolting points, it will be worth a try!!:D :D :D
