95 xlt lift????

I have a 95 4wd xlt. i jsut want to raise the truck around 3 inches or so. Im putting on 20s but i want to have a meaty tire so i want to lift the truck a little. i keep hearing all diff options. i really only want to lift the truck so i can ride higher, not go off road or anything. i want to stay fairly cheap too. i heard about blocking my truck. and something about a p.a. 853, someone please give me some ideas and websites and whatnot all is welcome...THANX

why would u want to lift a explorer??? haha jk..

there are plenty of kits out there that'll give you al lift. just do a search on here for it, or im sure someone can chime in. i see your wanting to put 20inch rims on it too? sorta like Donk style huh? Just remember the bigger the rim, the more expensive the tire gets too. i almost got a set of 17inch rims and the "meaty" 33 inch tire for it cost about 400 bucks...each!!
