When the fuel gets below half full (used to be 1/4 full) it starts starving or missing, when you lift the throttle then reapply it runs better, but sometimes you have to do it many times. On the open road it will run like its not getting enough fuel, I have cleaned the Maf etc, but seems to be linked with the fuel level. Any suggestions? Any help much appreciated.

How long since you changed the fuel filter??

I believe it was fully serviced by the previous owner just before I got it, I have only had it for about 3 months. So I cant really confirm if it has been done, but even if it has not been changed wouldn't the problem be there the whole time? not just when it reaches a certain level in the tank. I though I had read somewhere on here that it could be either a split in the hose or the pump may be overheating, but I cant find the thread.
If it is the hose can this be replaced on it's own or is it a complete pump replacement.
