I checked my oil before I did an oil change, and I could hardly pull my dipstick out. It took a good solid 3 minutes of tugging. The dipstick was twisted much more than normal. Also it would not fit back in all the way. So I did my oil change and drove to ford to pick up a new dipstick. It would not fit in all the way either. (only about 2/3 of the way in). Now what could be the problem? I have never ran into somehting like this. The old dipstick does not look like anything hit it.
I have not had any internal engine work done to in ever, it has 220K km on it and runs fairly well. any insight anyone.
