Not sure what the problem is here. Very strange. If I just Touch the brake pedal, the truck Locks. If I take it out of gear it releases, so I cant tell if its the Trans or the Brakes locking. I'm thinking it's the Trans, but I didnt get a chance to really look at it tonight. I left the car on the street, will probably Tow it in the morning.
I did notice that the truck does not lock up in reverse. If I try to move while locked, it makes a terrible noise and moves forward a little, but it's really screwed up.

I just had $700 of Brake work done 3 weeks ago. My first thought was they screwed something up.

Looking for any quick input on this.

Thanks

there could be the caliper bolts or generally brake "frame" bolts not properly tightened. It happens to explorers. So try to check this things (crawl under the vehicle - SUPPORT !!!!), get 13mm (for caliper) and 15 mm (for "caliper frame") and try to fasten them. If there is everythin OK check the pads. I presume you have the front locked ?

Thanks, I think you got it with the Caliper bolts. Left side front brake, on the inside of the wheel, a 12mm bolt had loosened and fallen out. This allowed the Caliper assembly to pivot and lock up against the wheel. Luckily this did not happen going 60mph.
For now I have the wrong bolt in holding it together. The Firestone Service place is ordering a new bolt from the Dealer.

Thanks
