Hi i have a 1996 explorer and the check engine light is on and wont come off i went to a local mechanic and told me it was the EGR valve but i changed it and it still doesnt come off and i already disconnected the battery so iwas wondering if somebody could help me with this problem, my explorer is also tilted to the right side if looking at the truck from the front well if any one can help me write bak thanks

Very common on explorers. its the Rear Leaf Springs. The Drivers side wears out faster since there is a constant increased weight on that side from the driver. Especially one that is 250lbs plus! Haha, anyway, the ways to fix this is to change the leaf springs, add a ADD A LEAF spring set, or just change the drivers side to the passenger and vice versa. I recommend a replacement of both rear springs.
