i have a 1996 explorer xlt 4.0 auto trans (4R55E) the other day i was driving and check eng light came on it would not shift out of first gear. so i pulled code po756 (shift solenoid) so i called dealer to buy solenoid and found out there is 4 solenoids and he recamended i replace all of them. so i did. by the way the trans has about 35,000 miles with no problems until now. but it still dont shift. but on road test found (when rpms are at 3000 and if i let off the gas it will shift and all the other shifts are normal. its just first gear if i stay on gas it will not shift. so my question is : Is there anything else i can check.
