Any help please. I have a control trac 96 explorer XLT and when in 4WD the front has no pulling power. I put the truck up on blocks and placed in drive with the 4WD on. All 4 wheels spin. The looks to spin faster than front. Now in the front the passenger side wheel spins pretty much the same speed as the rear but the drivers side real slow. In both front wheels I can actually stop the wheels from spinning. I see the front drive shaft still spinning but getting no torque to the fronts. Can anyone explain why I would have no power to the front wheels?
I got stuck in the sand so that's how I know they don't give me any pulling power.
