can i use the stock u bolts and leaf clamps when i put on a add-a-leaf kit? or do i have to buy new ones?

Yes, go ahead and start soaking them with WD40 a few days ahead of time. They are plenty long enough to add a leaf.
 






you should use something stronger than wd40. get a good penetrating oil like good ol PB Blaster. u will be amazed how well it works. wd40 is nice for small squeaky things but when u need to break bolts loose i would definitely get some pb blaster and let it soak a few hours.
 






and is there a way to tell how much lift your gonna get by using an add-a-leak kit before you put them on, i found some from summit and i cant specify what size to buy?
 






I think the short leaf adds about 1-2".
