96 Ford Explorer 5.0

Air Conditioning only blows hot air if above 102 degrees.

I had freon added recently - is it possible there is too much treon in system so that the compressor cuts off if the temperature gets too high (the enternal presure buids up and systems cuts off?)

Welcome to this forum! Do you hear a clicking sound from the inside of the dashboard? If so, then you might have a problem with the blend door.
