2-3 months ago i did a tune up on my 96 explore V6 4.0 i put on platium 4 plugs, MSD spark plug wires, fuel filter, and everthing came out fine, anyways another 2 months later or so which was like 4 days ago..i did an oil changed and replaced fram air filter with a K&N stock air filter. right after all this on the way home on the freeway i was doing 85-90mph....for about 4 minutes.....then all of a suddent the check engine light came on.....when i got home i thought nothing of it . next day when i was driving it the check engine like was still on...and at ilde it would shake. when i got the chance i took it to a friend to have it scanned... and he pulled 2 codes from the computer they were .....i forgot...but one met misfire in cyilder 1 and a misfire in cyilder 4......i disconected my wires and reconected them but still the engine shook. anybody have an idea of what might have happend???
if it is misfiring? how do you go about fixin that problem.
also on the coil pack it has #s. i asume the firing order to the cyliders but can someone tell me wheres 123456 on the engine are??? i dont want to say anymore cus then ill confuss some ppl so ill just ask someone if they can give me some info on where the spark plug wires connect to the engine block.....ive looked on the chilton shop book for it, but it doesnt say....
