Which direction would you point me in if I said I was wanting to lower my 96XLT 2WD? I'm looking to drop it 2-4 inches and I want it to be clean. Since the vehicle isn't a 4WD I don't have any plans to go off road, lifting it, etc. so I'm planning on having my Explorer as a cruiser. Big wheels, lowered, already have the limo tint etc.

Help me out. I've been searching as well

put a lift block in the rear and crank the torsion bars down, get yourself an upgraded handling kit and you are set...

Bravo!!!!

That's complete BS considering this has been discussed thousands of times. Try a little harder and you'll find EVERYTHING you need.

Welcome nonetheless. :)

I've lowered cars before- I've never messed with lowering a truck however. When you talk about Torsion bars, blocks in the back? It almost sounds like another language to me *blush*

Search for TT and you'll find a ton of info.
