96K miles on a 93, still got much life? what are your odo's reading?

My '96 turned 56k today. I'm still waiting for my auto tranny to seize itself so the extended warrenty will pick up the tabs for a brand new one.

K guys heres the latest scoop,

the dealer has: replaced the windshield, install a block heater if she dont have one (you need em in northern alberta), and fix/replace the exhaust. PLUS a years unlimited mileage powertrain warranty covering also all seals and gaskets. also new tires at all four corners.

i'm a return customer to this lot, (bought my 96 Trans Am form them) and they know how meticulous I am with vehicles. He's making sure that everything is going to be smooth by the numbers and that I'm happy.

thanks for all your input fellas. its not a sealed deal yet, but it looks very attractive.

My 93 EB has 106K. Usual replacements. like radius arm bushings, recall items. ect..Never had a problem with the tranny so far. Keep on schedule with fluid changes and just recently changed with 13 qts of Mobil 1 synthetic ATF. Seems to shift a little smoother. May be a state of mind just knowing it is in there. Mike

my 1992 X has 103,700 on it, and i've never had a problem, other than changing the shocks.

My 91 has 133k on it. I think it now needs a new timing chain and tensioner and that it the only big problem it has had.

I have a 92 xlt, I am the second owner I bought it in 94 and I only have barely 96K on the motor. I drive it every day not too much out of the city though.

I'm about to turn 130,000...the only problems I've had are the O2 sensor/PCV valve =)

Miles

I have a 91 Explorer. it has 205,000 Miles on it I got it When it had 168,000 I thought it was 68,000 miles but they lied i found out on taxes it was 168,000 I have replaced the transmisson at 186,000 miles and the starter at around 198,000 and now i puting bearings in the front end soon and get it lined up so not much work done on it i messed the transmisson up all the time spinning tires pulling people out thats what messed it up
