hey all, i have a 97 explorer v8 edition and it keeps lighting the check engine light and when i do a code check it reveals a code for an insuffient collant temp. i have replaced both sensors, the gauge, and nothing works. it keeps bringing up the same code and then lighting the check engine light. can anyone help? please i need this thing to work right. my mother is taking this on a trip to Ohio soon and it needs to run right.

How about the simple stuff, like a new thermostat?

ooh yeah replaced the thermastat. but thanks for the tip. i thought that that might be the problem before. i didn't think that it would be the thermistat because the heat works fine. anyone else got any ideas?
