97 explorer 4.0L SHOC idle surge

hi I've been having trouble with idle on my ex cold or hot the idle surges from nearly stall to about 1200 rpm I have cleaned IAC , MAF and checked TPS for proper operation. Pulled codes and have code P1400 DFPE Sensor but I only just replaced this 800km ago. Any ideas.

Make sure you dont have any vacuum leaks, check all the vacuum hoses and connections.

Can EGR be fixed or is it a new one needed.

Remove and clean with brake clean
Put a vacuum on it see if it moves

If all fails replacement
