Ok guys, so here's whats going on. I have a 97 explorer that needed an EGR valve, and a new thermostat. I took out the PCM to have better access to the egr. I've taken it out before, and never had an issue. As soon as both parts were replaced, the truck will start, but will not stay running unless my foot is constantly on the accelerator. It should also be noted, that the thermostat housing will not seal right, and I've heard explorers of this generation have a shut off if the engine coolant temp sensor isn't getting coolant flow. But I don't know that for sure.
