97 Explorer front headrest height

I'm short of a manual for my Explorer (97 on the R) and was wondering if one of the buttons on the right hand side of the seat might make the seat back extend a little bit more? I'm certain a couple of them just whirr and do nothing on mine.

At 6'2 in height, the impact / neck support for a rear end smash would be negligable. Mind you as I explained to my wife to avoide a collision I would just run around the footwell.

I'm afraid that the seat back does not extend at all and the head rest is part of the seat. However as someone who has been hit up the back 3 times now, I can assure you that I did not suffer any neck strain at all and the x survived very well (not even a scratch).
