i got the explorer for 250 bucks it is a 4.0 5spd my mom wrecked it so i bought it off her for scrap price and i got it runing and the 4x4 working then i was beating on it and the shackle were rotted and i guess i flexed it over some rocks and broke them. soo i need new ones and i want to lift it some in the back. can i just make some i have lost of mettel laying around and a welder so i would like to like to lift it 3 inch and i am 16 and already have a truck so this is just a woods toy so i want it verry low budget thats why i want to make them. i need to know how ling they sould be in all to get 3 inch of lift i can figure the rest out
