Recently I bought a 97 Ford Explorer with trac control 4wd and i noticed every time i first drive it after it has sit awhile when i make left or right turns it sounds like a squeal and the brake caliper is not releasing all the way and hesitates while making a turn at slow speeds also i already replaced the driver side cv axle and wheel bearing so where should i start looking at for the problem ?

??? need help figuring this problem out.

Hey, Welcome to the Forum.

Does the squeal come from the front of the vehicle?
Sounds like you have bad ball joints, which would explain the turning problems.
As for the brake caliper sticking, just get a new one, things like that happen.

the squeal comes from the rear drivers side, I'm starting to think it's the caliper so i'm going to replace the rear rotors and both calipers on the rear. Thanks for the advise i'll look into the ball joints just incase.
