As I bow my head to the mechanical wizards of the second gen explorers, I was asked to post a question. Today a friend was leaveing school, and backed his truck out of it's space. He drove normally for about 10-15 yrds. and stopped, put the truck in park and got out. Everything normal so far, but when putting the truck back into gear(with foot on brake-not gas) the truck wouldn't move, no gears what-so-ever. The truck is pushable in any gear except park. It's like the thing is in neutral, it freewheels as if there is no load. What is odd about this, is at the same time, the door chime of all things, started acting as if the key is always on. As soon as you open the door it is beeping, and no the lights are not on. Does this sound as absolutely insane to eveyone as much as it does to me? Is this a possible computer problem, or a remarkable coincidence? Thanks For Any Help -Sly-
