:exp: Hello all. I have a 97 eddie edition with a 6cyl. I have a couple issues. some are not fixed, though my two uncles are very succesful mechanics and have givin me the fix for them, just need the cash now. Maybe this info will be of help to others with the same issues.
Wont start: Battery is ok, radio dont work, but will work in drive... (fix) under the steering collum is a 13$ starter relay, from any parts house basicly. For a start untill then, just run some wires to the cab from the starter relay on the fender wall under hood and the battery hot, jump them with key on to start. A repair manual will help in this task, I get one from autozone for every automobile I have.
Factory keyless entry code:located in the driver side rear fender well in the back of the truck cargo bay. will need a small mirror (I used one of those dental mirrors) and a flashlight. the code is on the module in there.
Heater works wierd or makes bumbing noise under dash passenger side:This is the blender box. roughly a 400-500$ fix. part is discontinued from ford, they have remade the part, so no repair is available( not a reliable one anyway). You can fix this yourself, with much work, and with some good mechanic skills. The part itself is roughly 350$, is the intire blender box. I will have a mechanic do mine, as is noted by a mechanic as roughly a 4 hour job and he knows what the heck he is doing and with the right tools.
Alternator makes a wicked vibrating sound: Blown bearings, as is my case. Can also be a bad belt tensioner, warped pully(on the alternator), or loose bolt on alternator mounts. A simple rebuild will fix the bearings.
A/C clutch inguages and disinguages: Low coolant charge on the ac system. If this continues, you most likely got a leak. Mine was undetectable, as the leak was from a failing condensor, complete fix is around 250-300$. Not including the recharging of the a/c system

In Cold weather, Air ride switch off: Air ride ,which controls the ride of the rear of the truck with a load on it to keep the vehicle even height, says it is off in cold weather, but in warm it is ok. No idea on this. just started. If anone has info on this please post please.
Truck runs ok, but check engine light is on: Ok, maybe it dont run OK, but if you disconect the positive battery cable for 30mins at least, this is how the factory resets the switch with service. If that dont work or comes back on very soon after, then you got other issues.
Ok, the more I learn the more I will post. Feel free to post to this. I know there are serveral issues that relate to these, I tried to stay pretty specific to my issues while leaving room for others. I just know these are fixes to my issues, hope they help someone.
