Went to go out and started it up. RUns great but when i went to back out it wouldnt come out of park. Teh fuse is blown for the break lights now and i think there is a short somwhere in the break light wiring.

ANY IDEAS?

Does this model year require you to have your foot on the brake to shift out of park? If so, then it uses the brake on/off (boo) switch to know if the brake is on. A blown fuse would not allow the input of "the brake is on" to the computer to know to allow the shift. That's my suggestion. Fix the brake electrical problem, and I will bet you get the shift.

One of the first things that I do when looking for the cause of a blowing brake light switch is to disconnect or isolate trailer wire harnesses.

yes this does have the lock thing to stop you from getting out of park without the break on. to drive it put the ignition just barely on and put it in neutral then start it up. this should work at least until you get it fixed
