I recently got a 98 V6 SOHC with only 71k on it that has been sitting for like 8 years.
Been dealer serviced its whole life 100 stock.
I got all the monitors to set except the Cat and I have driven 800 miles and done multiple drive cycles.
I have tried multiple versions of drive cycles is there a specific one for 98 explorers.
There are no codes on my hand held scanner and the MIL light is off haven't run the Forscan software on it yet but both my hand held scanners show no.codes.
Could weak oxygen sensors cause it not to set?
I need to pass CA smog it has 2012 tags.
