98 Expl 4.0 SOHC swap 03 4.0 ohv Sport Trac ??

Hello, just purchased a 98 explorer xlt, with 4.0 L SOHC auto, has 155,000 km's, runs good but with a occasional rattle, and some front end bearing noise

I have the oppurtunity to purchase a 2003 Sportrac drivetrain but with
4.0 OHV/harness/comp. Front diff and Rear Disc diff and tranny/transfer case for a reasonable price, just for extra parts in case i wreck something

so some questions

what would swap across, and what wouldnt - should i buy it all or leave it

price wise im looking at spending around $400 for this drivetrain

The OHV was not available after 2000. It will be a SOHC from the Sport Trac. Swap over all of the external bits from the old engine, intake included and drop it in.

ok thanks, havent had them side by side to compare, only noticeable difference is the valve cover oil filler and dipstick are on opposite sides i think
