98 explorer wont start.

1998 ford explorer
My explorer wont restart after driving to work.wait a couple of hours or overnight,starts right up.can anyone help me fix this problem.thanks.

check the ground wires. Check the battery terminals for adequate connection. Have battery checked and go from there
 












Could be a clogged injector that drips when the engine is warm and stopped and the fuel rail is under pressure.

2 things happen, one or more cylinders is overfull of fuel and won't start the other is the reduction of pressure in the fuel rail.

It's worth trying a Seafoam clean before you spend a lot more.
 






Also, might be coolant temp sensor that talks to PCM - never thinks the engine is cold so doesn't set it up right to start.
