How do you change plug number 3 (Riders Side Rear) on a 98 Mountaineer other than removing the whole air conditioning condenser unit..... help!
thank you

remove wheel

From what I've read most members remove the wheel and inner fender flap. Make sure that you have a swivel spark plug socket of the correct size. Do a search and there are several step by step threads, maybe even a video.

It's the easiest way to do it. Once you remove what 200Streetrod mentioned the plugs will be right in plain sight.

welcome

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the stock 95-01 section. Use a long wobble extension with the socket to get into tight places where a standard extension can't go. It will provide a slight angle.
