Very simple, instead of running the radio off a keyed hot, run a constant hot wire and it will not turn off till you twist the knob or push the button.

Thought about doing this for awhile. The power windows work for awhile after the key is turned off in my '96 E.B. and the power is cut when the door is opened, so it seems as easy as tapping directly into the circuit that controls the window feed with the radio's power with key on hot wire. Using a test light it should be fairly easy to find the wire to tap. I never did it because my truck has moved to work, home and store only status.
