My explorer won't start, it turns over fine. The CEL isn't on, and an OBD reader revealed no codes. Preliminary diagnostics indicate no fire at the plugs, good plug wires, and good batt. voltage at the coil. When the engine is turning over, the "Theft" light stays off.

From what I've read the TPS, CPS & ICM are all possibilities.

Any suggestions, on help narrowing it down would be GREATLY appreciated.

Just making sure you didnt have the problem I did, and yes I read that the Theft light stays off, but when you first put in the key and turn it but not start it, what does the Theft light do?

The "Theft" light stays on solid for 4-5 sec. then off.

Thanks for the quick reply.

K, if it doesnt blink rapidly then its not the problem i had, the problem i had was the anti-theft system wouldnt accept my one key and so the truck wouldnt start, sorry i can't help much

Thanks for the help anyway. ;-)
