Greetings,
My 1998 2wd Explorer behaves strangely during sharp slow turns such as a u turn. It makes odd noises like a wheel is rubbing and feels like a wheel is about to fall off. I have replaced all of the ball joints and tie rod ends.

Thanks David Clay

First of contragulations on buying a 2wd drive it's the best choice you can make, it sounds like a outer bearing problem or a loose control arm. rock the front corners of the truck and look for movement this usualy leads to the problem

power steering pump, rack ass.? just thoughts.
