I just want to get some input on any tips on replacing the plugs on the 98 xlt OHC.
Truck has 75k miles, and is getting little hard to start.
I might change battery and the plugs.
Will be using NGK.

Thanks

Got my double Platinum motorcrafts from FordPartsNetwork.com cheap and fast.

Installing them yourself is cheap but not fast ;)

Drivers side is easy. Passenger side gets fun as you get near the firewall. On my 97 SOHC w/110,000miles it was best to take the passenger side fender liner out. Then you can access the plugs from between the tire and the body.

Use antiseize on the treads and dielectric grease on the plug tip where they mate with the wires. Watch your plug wire routing using the seperators that came with the wires.

Inside the fender where the tire is there is a black plastic type cover above the tire... pull that off and you have access to your plugs.
