, So i am new to explorers, really like the truck, however it started missing terribly, new wires, plugs, and coil pack, so then i go get it scoped says # 6 cylinder 20 lbs, so im guessing stuck valve?, Just tried the seafoam treatment with no luck, still drive it but has a dead, patterned miss, any suggestions would be appreciated, only 126k on vehicle, 4x4 sport!!!
I would use a leakdown tester to isolate whether you have a valve or a piston problem in #6 cylinder before you throw any more parts in. Did a complete compression test get done on all the cylinders? Any codes?
Fixed it took valve cover off and rocker was laying in there put it back on runs perfect, very odd, they dont even bolt in ive drove for days like this and all it was rocker arm was off
