Earlier this spring I bought a brushguard for my '99 Ex. I started positioning it using wood boards and styrofoam.

Missing Brackets

Discovered that there are brackets missing. Like most guys, I jumped on the internet to find replacements. No luck.

Fabricate brackets

I decided to make a bracket template out of cardboard so I could look into getting them made. I got a quote of $125 to have two made. That was a bit too steep a price for me.

Template in place

The brackets wil be held on by a bumper bolt as well as another bolt through an existing hole in the frame.

F#$% it. I'll make by own.

I found some steal plate to use so I transferred the template on to it and cut it out.

I actually need a set of these either made or to find time to make some. It's so sad seeing my brush guard sit around unused with the lights on it and all.
