My Explorer 99 FWD start flashing 6 times every 3 minutes since the transmission was rebuild

Is the flashing light 4X4 HIGH? It does that to tell you the computer has disabled 4X4, the reason must be found out. On mine, it was due to an ABS problem. Other things can cause it. Need to check for trouble codes. imp

Also it's 4WD. FWD means Front Wheel Drive.

Good point! He didn't say which light was flashing, and I never thought of Front Wheel Drive light flashing, so figgered it was 4X4. I swear I've had ALL those damned lights flashing, at one time or another! imp
