Does the m-4209adpt-ac speedometer calibrator work on these explorers too? Other options besides dealer if it doesn't?

With my 31's I just did the math, and figured I was going 3-4 mph faster then what the speedo says, never been in trouble doing that, had the tires on for almost a year now.

That really depends on how fast you're going, the faster you go the more it will be off.

I keep my GPS on and ue it as a speedo.

Why not just change your speedo gear? I don't think it's really all that hard.

Cant on a 99, speedo input is calculated through the sensor in the diff. The earlier ones had the drive in the t-case I believe up to 97

Yea I know. I just did an average of the speeds I usually go, anything below 35 won't really matter that much, 45-70mph is what I am concerned about.

That's what I've been doing. It's not driving bad or anything, just would like it to be correct.

Ah. Can't change the gear in the instrument cluster to correct for it?

They do make stand alone gps speedometers, I really don't like taping into the factory harness that much, so I would avoid those calibration things for the speedo.
