I have the 4.0 L engine in my truck and the vin says X for the eight digit How do you tell if it is a DOHC and how much horsepower will it have if it is the Ohv? or DOHC?:exporange

You have the overhead valve engine with 150 engine horsepower.

Thank you and whats the best oil weight to use? and will a ram air make a big difference in acceleration?

I use 5W30 full synthetic in the engine. In my opinion there will be no measurable gain in engine performance due to facing an intake air scoop in the direction of travel. If you place the scoop on the hood you will probably just increase your drag coefficient. However, I do believe that drawing intake air from outside the engine compartment on cool days will slightly improve performance.

Thank you , i was thinking of using Castrol Syntec 10W-40 would that be good, and ill probably just put a cone air filter in the box just to help a little bit..

That oil should be fine. It's warmer there than it is here.

I Have squeak under the hood when i hit 2000 rpm or more , it goes away when i turn the ac on and then when i get to around 2500 rpm it comes back , it goes away after a little while excpet for when i reach around 2800 rpm anything below that its fine, any ideas to what it is?
