- 99 ford explorer.
I have a 99 explorer 4*4. The transmission is out. It goes behind the overhead valve 4.0. I was wondering what other vehicles have this transmission? Alternatively there is a 5.0ho driving from a mountaineer that i can get everything i need for the swap for cheap. How hard would it be to swap that motor and tranny into my car?
