99 explorer XLT should i buy?

i was thinking about buying that the guy is selling it for 700$ i could prob get him to go down to 600 but i was wondering if its worth it to buy and would it be posible to fix her up using parts from my 97 XL the damage dont look that bad and the guy says it runs fine can i just bolt on my hood fenders cromed bumper and grill or would i be looking at alot of frame repairs? the thing is my explorer has been dead for over 8 months . i took it to like 20 diferent shops and every guy says something dieferent is wrong with it so i took it all apart and found afew stuff that need to be replaced wich will come out to around the price of that car so what do you all think? should i buy it for parts should i fix that one up or should i not buy it

I don't think we'd be able to help with the frame issues. A lot of damaged vehicles look trashed and the frame is fine, and some look minor and the frame is bent. No way to really know unless you have someone look at it. But if the frame is straight, sure- go for it!

Be very careful, you should at least take a tape measure with you and make sure that the parts of the frame you can see are within spec, also do things like check the top of the front wheels on both sides measure the same to the exposed frame behind. Otherwise you may need a jig to straighten her out if thats possible, I have seen bent frames on a jig that take on memory of the curve and can be pulled out to original spec but distort back to the damaged curve again latter.
If it was me mate, I would leave it alone and keep looking, I would rather but an ex with a straight body and frame with a dead engine for the same price.
