Well i just bought a 99 expo from a guy that moved here to SC from ME. Now i am sure everyone knows what it looks like underneath. The frame is pretty well rusted. Its nothing terrible just a good amount of surface rust. Now I really dont think i have the mechanical know how to take the body off and put it back on because my last truck i did this too is still in pieces and its been 3 years. Anyways has anyone here painted the frame and the bottom of the body while it was still together? Would you have to completely remove the rust for it to be effective? I was just gonna lift my expo and paint everything with undercoating. Let me know what yall think!

rust never sleeps.
You cant stop it.

I really just want to slow it down lol

I took my Explorer from Aiken, SC to Cincinnati, OH and in 4 short years, the rust took over. I still have the truck but had to replace a lot of parts. I asked someone about painting the frame or adding something to keep the rust from increasing. I was told that there wasn't really anything that I could do. Good luck if you find anything out please post.
