Finally got my hands on an Explorer.
Well, it was purchased for my sister but I have a feeling I'll be driving it a bunch in the winter.
My little sis has demolished two cars so far, a '98 Taurus in a head on collision and a '98 Crown Vic in a rear end collision, so we got her something slightly harger to keep her safe, poor truck!
Anyway, its a '99 XL 4x4 in blue with green interior. I put whee/tire combo on it from my Crown Vic so its about two inches lower now, and that had a huge impact on the speedo, its showing about 6mph faster than its actually traveling, but its a good thing, maybe my sister will take it slower on the road.
I don't think I'll be doing anything to this truck to make it an offroader, but I would like to get some towing package solution created so that I can tow the Crown Vic that she crashed to the race tracks (I'm building a supercharged trailer queen out of it)
So if anyone has any inexpensive ideas, fire them at me.
pix to come!
