Hi all, I recently removed my front seats to have them reupholstered . After reinstallation, my driver seat will only move in one direction. Meaning it will move forward but not go backward, front tilt will move up but not down, rear tilt will move up but not down. Thinking my switch had finally bit the dust, I bought two new switches and I am getting the same results. When I bypass the switch and module, all 3 motors move in both directions as designed. I have studied the memory seat wiring diagrams and confirmed I have hot(BK/WH) and a good working ground(BK) to the seat. I have confirmed fuse at module is good and all connections at module are seated. I have search this forum but have not seen anyone have a problem like this. Seat worked fine before the R&R. I am at a loss here, any help would be appreciated.

That's an odd one, maybe the memory feature needs reset? I saw a post for another Ford with this:

Another thing I would try, is use the controls to put the seat in the furthermost position, all the way forward for example, then unplug it and manually (or with a power feed) move it all the way back, then plug back into the harness and see if it has both directions.

Doesn't it expect that when the key is off, the seat has moved to the fully backwards position so it needs to be in fully backwards when reconnected? I am just guessing, throwing ideas out there.
