99 ranger idle problem

I have a 1999 ranger 4.0 liter. When I am stopped the engine will idel at 1000rpm when the truck is in park it go's to 1500 rpm and there is a mis in it . It seems to be getting worse. Does anyone have any ideas. I have tuned it up and still the same.

Check for vacuum leaks. I had a vacuum leak in my PCV hose and it gave me the same symptoms.
