Good Labour Day to you all.
I need some help with my son's 99 explorer sport 4 x 4 4l sohc. Don't know how to post the questions I have. Anyway here is the question. Thanks to anyone that can help or point me in the right direction.
Engine suddenly started to loose oil and make load mechanical noise. It starts and runs but the noise is so load you turn it off right away.
I am thinking that it is the timing chain cover that is loosing oil causing the load noise. If that is the case how long will it be until the timing chain is wrecked?
Am I on the right track?
