stoopid question...should there be any type of rubber piece at the bottom of the drink holders in the center console? Things sure do rattle alot !!!

Why not just cut some yourself? Get a little material from home depot and cut it? Easier and cheaper I would bet.

Mine were missing when I brought my 99 X home last Oct. I went to Ford and ordered 2 of them...of course each was a slightly different size! I think they were about $6-8 each. They do keep things from rattling around.

I ordered a replacement one for my 97 (lost when it stuck to taco bell cup that I threw away) from www.fordpartsnetwork.com

It was about $15 + shipping. The local dealer could never get one, it was always on backorder.
