- '99 Eddie Bauer
Hi, just bought a '99 Explorer 4.0 V-6 Eddie Bauer. Need a little help figuring out the next step to take. Can anyone give me some pointers?
-Automatic tranny, AWD
-about 218,000 miles on the clock
-I have P0715 & P0743 showing up as the only codes on my OBDII.
-Not sure if it's ever had any major work done
-no leaks evident
I haven't had any major problems, but it has stalled twice. Both times it happened at a stoplight after I'd been cruising along at about 60 MPH. Engine shuddered then stalled...
I've tried looking through some of the other threads, but I keep getting confused by all of the other possibilities. Any ideas on what I might be looking at?
Also, I'm fairly handy with vehicles, but this is my first Ford...
